1. Cookies on this website (billmad.com)

This website sets no cookies for tracking, advertising, analytics or profiling, and we have no third-party embeds (no ad networks, no social widgets, no analytics scripts). The only storage used is your browser's local storage — not cookies — for two preferences:

bm-theme — remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
bm-consent — remembers that you saw this notice so we don't ask again.

Both stay in your browser, are never sent to our server, and can be cleared any time from your browser settings or by clearing site data.

2. External resources

These pages load font files from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google's servers in the standard way that loading any font does. Google does not use these requests for advertising on our pages. If you prefer, you can still browse the site normally — fonts simply fall back to system fonts.

3. Cookies in the BillMad products

The BillMad software and the optional BillMad Cloud portal use only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and protected:

Authentication and session cookies (set as HttpOnly, SameSite) so your staff stay signed in for their shift;
A security/anti-forgery token to keep forms safe;
Two-factor authentication state, where enabled.

These are essential to the software working and cannot be switched off. They do not track you, do not follow you across other websites, and are never used for advertising.

4. Managing cookies and storage

You can review or clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Doing so on this website only resets your theme preference and shows the notice again. In the products, clearing session cookies simply asks staff to sign in again next time.

5. Third-party and cross-site tracking

None. We do not use cross-site tracking, advertising identifiers or fingerprinting on this website or in the products.
